Our Basement Drainage System

This is filled with gravel to create a trench that leads to a sump pump. A perforated drainage pipe is placed into the trench and covered with gravel and a waterproof membrane. Then, a shield strip is installed around the basement perimeter in order to create a firm seal. Finally, the concrete is replaced. Since every part of this system is beneath the floor, it’s invisible after completion, so that it won’t get in the way of your next basement finishing project.
